Summary: In Muggle London, heroes end up in jail.

This fic was written for my prompt at hp_friendship and is a real delight. It focuses on the friendship between Harry and Neville, and is just perfectly perfect, and everything I've ever wanted.

It's really funny (I actually laughed out loud several times while reading it) and its characterisations of Neville and Harry are to die for. Neville, particularly...*sigh*. This fic can show you all the reasons I love him better than I ever could.

And the conversations they have are so realistic, too. The writing is very simple and to-the-point and is just there to serve the characters.

I really love this and wish with all my heart that everybody would read it and comment and rec and everything!

How awesome is this show, really?



1) There's Jason Isaacs in it.

2) This is definitely quality film-making. The visuals alone, with cold/warm colours, are just so much above average TV.

3) I love the complete confusion the two shrinks bring up.

4) The guy's like a super-hero with a secret identity, except he's got two secret identities, and a very depressing super-power.

5) There's Jason Isaacs in it.

I discovered the existence of this show by chance. I was like, 'Oooh! Jason Isaacs!' and then I watched the trailer and I was like, 'Oooh! How come I'm not watching this already?'.

And then I watched it.

I just love this so much. Usually, in crime-shows, I think they try to focus too much on the cops' personal lives and it just seems fake and forced. Here, I'm just so confused because I want more personal life stuff but I don't want to sacrifice the investigation-time. Oh and I want more shrink-time, too. I want more of it, period.

Please let it not be like Boomtown. I adored it so much and they cancelled it just when I'd managed to convince people to watch it.

I did it! I’m officially an achiever!

( Very official-sounding thank yous to everyone + a statistic-y recap of my achievements )for her wonderful work in organising this wonderful challenge. Each prompt was for me the occasion of trying to do something new and original (no idea if it worked, but I’m pretty sure I had never read any H/D involving Barack Obama before) and to manage to do it in not too many words (which is hard because I tend to babble, but easier because finishing something long in a timely manner in definitely not my forte).

The next thanks go to everybody who commented and did seem to find some of my drabbles funny, and I don’t know if they actually exist, but I’d like to thank people who read them but didn’t comment, too. And I’d like to particularly thank enchanted_jae, for having commented on every single one of these drabbles, and nennefor reccing The Underpants (Day fifteen), thus making it my most popular thing ever. ♥

Also, HELLO! to the new friends I made during this advent period, it’s really nice to meet you!

sassy_cissadid this huge and wonderful work putting together a list of everything written for this year’s challenge, and it’s really awesome.
